NH could be one step closer to legalize adult use of marijuana, a bill is on its way to the NH House for a vote.
Last week on Thursday May 23, 2024 the Senate passed a measure late at night that largely reflects what Governor Chris Sununu has said he would support.
The state Liquor Commission would establish up to 15 stores which would open for business on January 1st, 2026.
The supporters complained the Senate amended version of the original House bill means people would continue to buy marijuana in other states until 2026.
