Yesterday evening a crash occurred in Londonderry near the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport involving a motorcyclist and a FedEx driver.
Police said the motorcyclist was taken to Elliot Hospital in Manchester with serious injuries after a crash on Raymond Wieczorek Drive at Pettengill Road Tuesday night.
The FedEx driver was not taken to the hospital.
Raymond Wieczorek Drive, the main road leading into the airport, had to be closed temporarily as crews responded to the crash.
The authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and have not released the names of the people involved.
