One nonprofit organization in New Hampshire is getting ready to provide toys to nearly 500 children in the foster care system all across the state.
Foster Adoptive Resource Exchange is opening its doors for foster parents to come holiday shopping for their kids without the worry of what the items cost.
"While there's assistance out there for clothing and other things that kids might need, we want kids that are within foster care or even adopt out of foster care. We don't want them getting any leftovers. We want their parents to really be able to come and pick what it is their kids want," Lisa Duda, president of Foster Adoptive Resource Exchange, said.
With the number of foster families they serve doubling this season, they're asking the community to get involved by donating online - Foster and Adoptive Resource Exchange
