On Friday evening my mom and I went out to dinner at 11 Central in downtown Bangor Maine.

For drinks my mom got a glass of red wine and I got the Island Pain Killer! In the Island Pain Killer is a traditional favorite incorporating Pusser's rum with coconut & pineapple topped with fresh nutmeg.
For beginnings, we shared The Award-Winning Grampa Joe's Elk & Corn Chowder! Inside of the chowder is locally sourced elk, A Wee Bit Farm bacon, corn, carrots, potatoes & a bit of crushed red pepper.
All entrees come with a small Caesar Salad; my mom got a small Gorgonzola Wedge Salad.
For our entrees my mom got the Sea Bass, and I got the Surf & Turf with Comfort! The sea bass is broiled, on a bed of sautéed spinach with fresh tomato, marinated with fresh ginger, soy & lime. The Surf & Turf with Comfort is rich & creamy mac'n cheese tossed with Maine lobster & topped with a grilled petite filet mignon... dreamy & creamy.
We both shared Dessert! We got the carrot cake! Best carrot cake I ever had! All the desserts that 11 Central offer, comes from Family Owned and Operated business Happy Endings!
If you are ever in Bangor Maine, I highly recommend going to 11 Central! Awesome restaurant for a date night or just a fun night out with family and friends. I give 11 Central 5 crowns!
